Cosmetic & FACE Acupuncture

Natural Healing

Acupuncture for Skin Conditions

For the reduction of inflammation of acne, psoriasis, eczema and rosacea; evening up types of skin types across the face.

During the first session we will have a consultation in order to discuss your condition and how it affects you. Together we will build a plan of what you would like to achieve and how many sessions might be needed for this. For example, in my experience, I have seen acne start to calm after one session, but more might be needed for longer term results.

Everything is guided by what you would like to achieve and how your skin reacts to the treatment. I would always advise the that the first two to three sessions are close together.

£50/ session

Facial Aesthetic Cosmetic Enhancement

It is important to remember how beautiful we all are, no matter how we feel. However, we all have areas we would like to feel better about for a variety of reasons: the irritation of an old scar; some laughter lines you are fond of but wish weren't quite so obvious; wishing your skin was a little tighter and brighter.

This is where Facial Aesthetic Cosmetic Acupuncture can help.

Your first treatment will last between an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the plan you choose. In this session we will consult about your skin type and what you would like to achieve. We will also discuss any relevant medical history including allergies.

The skin is cleansed using simple, perfume free wipes. The needles used are hair-fine, sterile, single use and are made from stainless steel. Through light palpation acupuncture points and structural muscles are located and the needle quickly and gently inserted just beneath the skin. When this happens, you may feel nothing at all but you may feel a tiny pinch. This is likely to vary depending on the area of the face being treated. You may feel a sensation of warmth around the needle which is the stimulation of Qi.

I would like to treat points on your hands and feet too, 'The Four Gates', as they are known in Traditional Chinese Medicine, but this is optional. This is to access the body's ability to release its own natural endorphins. This effect will be present with just the facial acupuncture alone, but is enhanced by using these extra points.

Please be assured that if any of the needles are uncomfortable, I can immediately remove them.

The needles will stay in situ for up to 15 minutes before they are gently removed.

If you have chosen the Platinum Plan, this is then followed by the application of a face mask and a facial massage.

How many treatments are advised?
This depends on what you are hoping to achieve. Multiple trials show that regular use of acupuncture causes gene modification. This is what I will be encouraging through the suggested regime.
